Principal welcomes AdEMNEA Project - Prof. Tony Oyana, the Principal, CoCIS, Makerere University

I take the honour of welcoming the Deputy Vice Chancellor. Prof Henry Arinaitwe who has represented us effectively. WIMEA-ICT project has a deep, rich history with CoCIS. The credit from doing a job excellently for five years does not go to an individual, but to the university and the country at large.

Notable results have been registered in graduate research and training young people, not to mention products like PhDs, publications and real applications that are working effectively in the field. Thank you for your contribution to our college, the university and the country.

Thanks to our partners, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology for partnering with us to complete this project. Special thanks also to the Kingdom of Norway for believing in us enough to graciously invest their tax-payers’ money in us, to build sustainable things in our college.
